Full-spectrum hemp also contains trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid in cannabis that makes you feel elated or “high.” The trace amount is not strong enough to have a psychotropic effect on a person. Terpenes, fatty acids and other plant-based compounds may help the CBD interact with your body more thoroughly.
